Trade and Marketing Executive
Development West Coast (DWC), as the Regional Tourism Organisation (RTO), is looking for a Trade and Marketing Executive to join its Destination and Tourism Team.
The West Coast is known for its untamed natural wilderness with icy glaciers and mountain peaks, breath-taking scenic views and wild coastlines, lush groves and soaring forests. There’s history, heritage, vibrant communities and so much more to be discovered on the West Coast.
The role is responsible for engaging both domestic and international consumers and trade and engaging with aspiring and existing visitors, through ensuring awareness and desirability for the region.
You will lead consumer-facing acquisition and retention strategies, understanding all facets of the customer journey and market size, remaining agile, relevant and innovative in engaging with consumers.
About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
- knowledge and understanding of the New Zealand tourism industry.
- understand domestic and international campaigns and B2B and B2C partnerships.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone to make their mark on the West Coast tourism industry while enabling West Coast tourism operators to understand the needs and wants of consumers and what opportunities they can leverage.
